Located at the Pilar Industrial Park (60 km away from Capital Federal), ILVA owns a 52,000 m² industrial plant, fairly equipped with machinery of the latest Italian technology, with a 6,500,000 m² production capacity per year and a distribution center of 25,000 m², allowing storage for over 28,000 pallets (approximately 1,400,000 m²), ensuring efficient distribution and excellent logistics tasks.

It operates with 6 wet mills. Slurry is later processed in two spray driers, the first one for the glazed porcelain and the second one for the technical porcelain, providing powder for the hydraulic presses, which work in various capabilities of pressing and a different variety of sizes.
The firing process comes next, it is done in 4 ceramic roller kilns. The next steps are rectification and polishing of porcelain tiles.

Finally, we control the tiles visually and electronically, to be then packed in boxes and palletized.
The whole production process is supervised by a systematic control, which attempts to discover defects and separate the different products according to their quality.

ILVA has developed Ilva Design, a creative and dynamic department formed by professionals and experts who work as a team to ensure maximum commercial success of new releases.

ILVA's laboratory is responsible for quality control of raw materials and production processes and verifies the ultimate quality of finished products.
